Market/Marketing Manager



Responsibilities and authority

The Market/Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall business marketing strategy and market plans, and for the overall marketing results. You will also be responsible for systems and activities for market intelligence, for keeping relevant KPI’s updated, for marketing planning and activities, for the digital marketing and relevant web-based solutions, for recruitment of new customers, as well as participating in tender work, project sales and other sales activities.



Background, experience and knowledge base
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as market/marketing manager within the subsea industry
  • Experience from operational sales, preferably to the subsea industry / marked
  • Competence and experience with market plans and sales in general
  • General contract competency in doing business international
  • Ability and interest to clearly express oneself in writing
  • General commercial and technical interest

Competency and Education
  • Relevant commercial/technical education, preferably MBA, MSc. or B.Sc. degree, but experience/courses might compensate formal education
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
