Electrical technician 

 
 
Responsibilities and authority 
 
The Electrical Technician is responsible for execution of control system related assembly, mounting, service, repair, and customer support. The responsibility includes contribution in day-to-day operations and projects in Blue Logic. This means contribution at all stages of the business process from early prototype assembly and mounting, product qualification and testing, and repair, in addition to customer support and service. The role may include survey, support and repair activities related to commissioning, test and repair at Blue Logic and at customers premises. The Electrical Technician reports to the Workshop Manager. 

 
Background, experience and knowledge base 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience within assembly, mounting, repair and service of subsea control equipment or similar  
  • Knowledge of subsea related control systems or similar equipment. 
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations within the Subsea industry 
  • Ability to work independent as well as a strong team contributor 
  • Good communication skills verbal and in writing 

 
Competency and Education 

  • Technical education within automation or electronics at technician level  
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and oral, language 
  • Offshore certificate(s) (Preferred, not required)
