Responsibilities and authority

The Project Manager is responsible for the technical solution and commercial results related to specific project within Blue Logic. The Project Manager is the leader for all aspects within the projects throughout all phases and stages, including tendering, planning, concept engineering, detail engineering, fabrication, assembly, testing and documentation. The Project Managers in Blue Logic are sole responsible for the project and project team after contract award and handover, including all technical, commercial, and contractual matters, as well as customer/client communication. Internal and external reporting is an important part of the job. The Project Manager reports to Project Director




Background, experience and knowledge base
  • Experience (Min. 5 years) within Project Management of EPCI projects within the oil and gas and preferably also subsea industry. Experience from other industries will be advantageous.
  • Experience and knowledge within management of development of products with multidiscipline content.
  • Background from Mechatronics, Electro/Electronics/Mechanical product development and engineering
  • Management and planning of personnel and resources
  • Experience with commercial aspects of projects from tender to project closing
  • Experience of customer interaction and handling
  • Ability to work independent as well as a strong team contributor
  • Good communication skills verbal and in writing

Competency and Education
  • Minimum 3 years of technical University education, BSc or MSc
  • Knowledge and experience within Engineering and product development processes
  • Knowledge and experience within Project Management
  • Knowledge and experience within standards and regulations within the Subsea industry
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English written and oral language
  • Relevant competence in legal and contractual requirements
