Blue Logic has received an order for 2 off complete sets of Well Intervention Connection Systems with Auto Release
The system is designed for Riserless Light Well Intervention, RLWI, representing the vital interface between vessel and subsea well. With a 3" full bore rated for 10 000Psi/690Bar, this connector allows for high flow - high pressure capacity ensuring reduced operation time.
By combining our patended
ValveStab technology with a brilliant quick disconnect feature, both safety and environmental considerations gained maximum priority. In case of vessel drifting off during operation, the auto release function will automatically close valves in Stab and Receptacle prior to activating the mechanical release. As both valves are fully closed prior to release, there is no fluid spill to sea and no water ingress in the system during the emergency disconnection.
The RLWI connector technology has been in operation since 2016 and was awarded a type approval certificate for well intervention in compliance with API 17D by DnV-GL.
The scope of work includes 2 off complete systems due for delivery in November 2026.
